Position Description: Account Executive

Position Details

Full-time  · CA$40,000 - CA$100,000 / year

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a healthy sales pipeline from the limitless opportunities in the market (Pure hunting role)
  • Actively own and manage your sales pipeline
  • Have a collaborative approach to working with inter-department teams to come up with an ideal solution for his / her customers
  • Actively pursue and seek out opportunities and support businesses to meet and exceed sales objectives.

Use effective prospecting techniques, including cold calling, scheduled follow-ups, and qualification of leads for equipment.

  • Develop and/or maintain strong business relationships with clients and others in the industry
  • Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations in a professional manner
  • Able to clearly articulate features, services, and benefits that are in line with customer needs
  • Create proposals and quotations in a professional manner that is consistent with the company brand
  • Successfully negotiate and close deals
  • Utilize online resources to maintain accurate records of sales calls, prospect interactions, client files, and sales activity information
  • Regularly provide detailed and accurate sales activity information to Management
  • Build customer loyalty
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Use quarterly forecasting and pipeline management to manage sales
  • Record all sales and touchpoints in the CRM.
  • Ensure records are kept up to date in the CRM within area of responsibility and/or accounts.
  • Find new customers, contacts, departments, and opportunities for sales growth within existing accounts
  • Present, promote and upsell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Achieve opportunity, sales, and call targets within schedule.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Follow-up on outgoing promotions to gauge interest.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Results-driven
  • 2 years experience in field customer facing sales.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a high level of customer focus
  • Cold calling experience in a sales “hunter” role
  • Prior experience selling technology hardware or software products
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Bilingual; English, French
  • Have a high level of integrity

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in field customer facing sales
  • 5 years experience in hardware or software technology sales
  • 2 years experience selling technical solutions
